First of all, We started the class making a short review about What "ESP" is and Why about its origins.
Then, trough the video Ben, teacher cleared some doubts due to the presentation the class in this way. So, we talked about the real purpose of English teaching as well as its factors.
By other hand, we discussed about the several theories and their authors that expalin the reasons which they are taking into account to teach, such as: Cognitivism, constructivism and beheaviorism.
For this point, we talked and created our own tecniques to apply the methods in some cases that teacher gave us, then we performance a bit role play during the class where all of us participated. It was about a boy who had some trouble to learn the class because he was not interested in it. It was so so so but so funny because one of the our classmates was the teacher meanwhile the teacher was a single student too... We laughed and enjoyed so much.
In the same way, after this fun activity, we could stablish some differences between What is a Topyc and What is a theme, in order to talk about waht is a syllabus and why the reasons to justify and to make it at the end of the period.
To finish the class, teacher gave us the regular instructions for the next class such as: to make a new class summary and try to participate in o forum which would be published during the week.
